Making perfect hard cooked eggs

Do you make hard cooked eggs and then when they are done you have yolks that are not yellow but greenish or grayish? If this is true then read on, it is quite simple to make eggs that are yellow and look appealing instead of disgusting.

First thing you have to do is put the eggs in a pan, you fill the pan with cold water until the eggs are covered by an inch. Next you bring the water to a simmer over high heat. Once the water is boiling, remove the pan from the heat, covered it with a lid and let it sit for exactly 12 minutes. Drain the pan and rinse under cold water.

That is all that there is to it, you will see that the yolks are nice and yellow

    YOu should not try to hardboil fresh eggs straight from the chicken or with the chicken still attached for that matter. You can just not peel them. They have to be a couple days old.
